Le comité national de Mécanique représente les scientifiques belges, menant leurs recherches dans le domaine de la mécanique théorique et appliquée, dans les travaux de l'International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM). Le Comité est patronné par la RASAB (the Royal Academies of Sciences and the Arts of Belgium).
