The Bestendige Commissie voor de Geschiedenis van de Wetenschappen (Permanent Commission for the History of Science) was established by the Koninklijke Vlaamse Academie van België voor wetenschappen en kunsten in 1941.
It was co-founded by Albert Van de Velde, who also became the president of this permanent commission.
