On Sunday 6 September at 2 pm, the Industriemuseum Ghent and ETWIE will host the lecture ‘Nervous Diseases in Historical Perspective’, as part of the exhibition 'Powder to the People'. Professor Joris Vandendriessche (KU Leuven), member of the National Committee for Logic, History and Philosophy of Science, will explore how the rise of over-the-counter medicines went hand in hand with new ideas about health, illness and the nervous system.
