Below are some of the copyright rules to be observed while writing or editing.
- The Bestor team reserves the right to edit or change contributions.
- Other users can also edit or change your contributions. If you do not want your texts to be rigorously edited by others, do not post them here.
- You promise that you are the original author of this material, or that you have copied it from a public domain source, or a similar free source. Do not plagiarize. Do not use material protected by copyright, whether text or images or other visual, audio or video material, unless you have permission to do so!
- You should always give a source for the facts you state in the note. Mention these literary references in your endnotes or bibliography. Images should also always be accompanied by a reference to their origin.
- Contributing to Bestor can be anonymous to a certain extent. Users do not have to give their real name when they register: they can post contributions under a user name of their choice. Making yourself known, either on your user page or by giving your real name as your username, is however recommended. Only in this way can you get recognition for your work, and be known to the other users. In any case, always sign your texts and comments with your username. (What is your user signature?)
