Conférence
Le 27 mars à l'Aula Emma Vorlat, le Leuven Centre for Health Humanities organise une conférence sur les mythes et réalités de la « colonie modèle médicale » belge. Simon De Nys-Ketels, chercheur postdoctoral à l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, examinera l'architecture hospitalière coloniale afin de dissiper les mythes persistants sur les soins de santé coloniaux belges. Ses recherches révèlent les réalités désordonnées de la planification, de la construction et de la gestion de ces espaces médicaux. La conférence peut également être suivie via Zoom. De plus amples informations sont disponibles sur le site web de l'organisation.

Call for Proposals
Chaque année, le Journal for the History of Knowledge publie un numéro spécial sur un thème spécifique, rédigé par des rédacteurs invités. Ce numéro thématique met l'accent sur des sujets en rapport avec l'orientation centrale de la revue. Dans le passé, des numéros ont ainsi été consacrés, par exemple, à la connaissance bureaucratique (2020), à l'ignorance (2021) ou à la connaissance incertaine (2024). L'appel à candidatures pour l'édition 2027 est maintenant ouvert, jusqu'au 1er mai 2025. Pour en savoir plus, consultez le site web de la revue.
